Nobody is asking you to like the T&A aspect of Dragon’s Crown, but you also weren’t ever asked what artistic merit is has. The Sorceress’s designs are hyper sexualized, but are also still beautifully drawn art. And Mike’s comic is just pointing out the ridiculous nature of it, that almost nobody would buy a game for overly sexualized men. (Well, outside of Cho Aniki)
I won’t deny that there is a double standard of women in games, but attacking the artistic merit is not gonna win you any battles. Attack their horrendous portrayls in games, attack the legion of tropes we see to this day, attack the companies that say you can’t win sales with a female lead. But stay the fuck out of the art debate.
You don’t decide what art is worth. The artist does.
